Responding to A-level, B-Tec and T-Level results today, Shadow Schools Minister and Portsmouth South MP said:
“Thousands of young people will gather at schools and colleges today to collect their exam results. Well done to all young people in our city for the enormous effort put into your studies.
If you don’t get the grades you hoped for, don’t despair. You have choices whatever the results.
Results day is the culmination of years of education and dedication and I want to thank teachers and school and college staff across our area for their professionalism and passion to encourage every young person to succeed and thrive”.
