By 29 April 2023No Comments

City MP Stephen Morgan will be joining the Big Help Out to take part in the Coronation Clean, where volunteers will take to Portsmouth’s streets to clean up graffiti.

The Big Help Out starts on Monday 8 May to mark His Majesty The King’s Coronation. Thousands of organisations across the country will be getting together to give us all the chance to help out in our own local communities.

Mr Morgan is asking for constituents to join him to participate in the Coronation Clean, which will involve cleaning up graffiti in the city.

Commenting ahead of the Coronation Clean, City MP Stephen Morgan said:

“The Big Help Out is a welcome initiative which will not only bring people in Portsmouth together over the Coronation weekend, but also allow residents to do what they can to help out locally.

With the many street parties and festivities on offer across Portsmouth this long weekend, the Coronation Clean is a great opportunity to improve the look of our community by removing unsightly graffiti.

I would love constituents to join me and Good Gym Portsmouth as we give back to our city during the King’s Coronation”.

The volunteering opportunity has been set up in partnership with Good Gym Portsmouth. To sign up to the Coronation Clean and stay up to date with detail visit: www.goodgym.org/v3/sessions/coronation-clean
