Commenting on the Prime Minister and Chancellor being fined by Police for breaching Covid rules, Portsmouth South MP Stephen Morgan, said:
“The Prime Minister and his Chancellor have broken the law, and both must now resign.
“While people in Portsmouth followed the rules, they partied in Downing Street.
“Their contempt for the rule of law and lack of respect for the British people underlines that it is one rule for them, and another for the rest of us.
“This Conservative government is utterly unfit to govern. The country deserves so much better.”
