Stephen Morgan is the Member of Parliament (MP) for Portsmouth South, the first-ever Labour MP for the constituency and the Minister fo Early Education.
A small dedicated support team works out of the constituency office on Albert Road in Southsea to provide a public service to residents in Portsmouth South and assist with Stephen’s parliamentary duties.
The ideal candidate will have prior management and casework experience.
Caseworkers play a vital role in an MP’s office, helping ensure that constituents’ concerns are heard, understood, and acted upon.
This important role will work alongside constituency-based and parliamentary staff, ensuring the wellbeing and development of staff is prioritised to ensure the efficient running of the constituency office.
Salary: £35,000
Hours: Full time (occasional weekend and evenings)
Location: Constituency Office at 72 Albert Road, Southsea (and occasionally at the House of Commons)
