City MP to take action on Portsmouth’s dirty air with roundtable on electric vehicles

By 12 October 2023No Comments

Stephen Morgan MP is inviting constituents with electric vehicles, or those who are considering using one, to a roundtable discussion on Friday 20 October.

It will be an opportunity to discuss all things Electric Vehicle related, including the pushing for renewables in Portsmouth, transport decarbonisation, and tackling dirty air.

The event will be taking place from 12 – 1.30pm on Friday 20 October, in Mr Morgan’s constituency office at 72 Albert Road, Southsea, PO5 2SL.

Alongside Mr Morgan, there will be an Electric Vehicle specialist available to share expertise and answer any questions.

Ahead of the roundtable, Portsmouth MP Stephen Morgan said:

“Electric vehicles will form a big part of Portsmouth’s transition to a net zero future, supporting decarbonisation of transport and tackling dirty air across our city.

That’s why I want to hear from Portsmouth people on the opportunities and challenges currently presented by electric vehicle ownership, and what I can do as a Member of Parliament to promote their use in Portsmouth and across the country.

I warmly encourage constituents with electric vehicles, or those who are considering using one, to come along and have their say”.
