City MP invites constituents to attend MAKE’s art exhibition showcasing the talents of adults with learning disabilities in Portsmouth

Stephen Morgan MP is inviting local people to attend an art exhibition in partnership with the Aldingbourne Trust as part of their MAKE service in Fratton, to showcase the talents of adults with learning disabilities and autism.

The Trust supports adults with learning disabilities and autism to lead enriched and fulfilling lives through education, training, specialist care working with local businesses.

The MAKE service also gives local people skills to enable them to lead independent lives and gain employment within the community.

Adults involved with the MAKE project will have their art showcased as part of an exhibition in Mr Morgan’s constituency office.

Commenting ahead of the exhibition, Stephen Morgan MP, said:

“The MAKE service changes lives in our city which is why I wanted to help by showcasing the artist talent of adults with learning disabilities and autism in Portsmouth.

“Whilst the fantastic art work has been on display in the constituency office for a little while now, I am keen for as many local people as possible to be able to view it.

“I warmly encourage constituents to pop by to this event and give the talented artists the recognition they deserve.”

The exhibition will be open for constituents to pop in on Thursday 2 November from 7pm until 8.30pm in Mr Morgan’s constituency office, 72 Albert Road, Southsea, PO5 2SL.
