This Annual Report sets out how I am serving you and our city in Parliament.
I’m focusing on the things that matter to you, making sure I spend my time and energy making a difference.
Born and raised in Portsmouth, I love our city. And its fizzing with potential. That’s why I’m proud to have secured significant investment for upgrades to the Naval Base, funding to restore pride in our communities and to protect our city from flooding.
In recent years life has been tougher than it needs to be. That’s why my relentless focus is on tackling the cost of living, to put more money back in your pocket and ease the pressure on household budgets.
Making sure the services we all rely on meet our needs is also a priority of mine. That’s why I’m working hard to ensure waiting lists are down, patients can access a GP or a dentist, our city streets are safe and schools give every child, whatever their background, the best chance in life.
Much has been achieved in the past year, but there’s still lots more to do.
