UK Parliament Week runs from 24 to 30 November, and it’s a fantastic opportunity for people of all ages to learn more about how democracy works and how you can have your say on the issues that matter most to you.

As your Member of Parliament for Portsmouth South, I work both in the House of Commons and here in our city every day.

Parliament is where decisions are made that affect your life—from the funding your school receives to the voting age at elections.
