In less than ten days time, Labour Party members in Charles Dickens ward will have the opportunity to select a candidate for the city council elections in May 2016.
Eligible members will be able to vote at the party’s Executive Committee on 8 October.
I’m Stephen, I’m Portsmouth born and bred, and I’ve thrown my hat in the ring for selection.
I will shortly be sharing more information about my candidacy to be your next Labour councillor.
I would be delighted to have your support.
I’m keen to meet ward party members and residents to find out views, hear concerns, and share ideas on how to make our community a better place to live.
I am hosting two informal ‘get to know the candidate’ events over coffee this Sunday.
Sunday 4 October 2015 11am-12pm at Starbucks, Guildhall Walk; or 2pm-3pm at The George Hotel pub, Queen Street.
