Portsmouth South MP, Stephen Morgan, will host a benefits drop-in event this week at his constituency office on Albert Road on Friday 20 January to provide practical advice and support constituents with the cost of living crisis.

With energy, fuel and food bills going up, Mr Morgan’s latest intervention is bringing together local groups including Portsmouth Citizen’s Advice, the Jobcentre, Advice Portsmouth and relevant teams at Portsmouth City Council to support constituents deal with the cost of living crisis.
During the event attendees will be able to:
- receive advice on managing their benefit claims, or information around what support they may be entitled to;
- share individual problems or financial concerns with Stephen’s casework team who may be able to help; and
- share thoughts, concerns, and questions with Stephen, and answers you want from Government
The drop-in event will start at 3:30pm, and end at 5pm, taking place at 72 Albert Road, Southsea PO5 2SL.
