Stephen Morgan MP has called on constituents in Fratton to submit their nominations for this year’s Inspiring Fratton Awards.
The community awards scheme, launched by Mr Morgan alongside Fratton Together in 2018, celebrates local people and their achievements.
This year, the awards are looking for nominations in the following categories:
- Contribution to Creativity in Fratton.
- Contribution to Learning in Fratton.
- Contribution to Sport and Exercise in Fratton.
- Contribution to Volunteering in Fratton.
- Most effective organisation or team in Fratton.
- Local Business in Fratton.
The closing date for this year’s awards is Monday 11 May with awards being given out in June.

Commenting on the 2026 Inspiring Fratton Awards, Portsmouth South MP, Stephen Morgan said:
“I know there are so many inspiring people living in Fratton who do so much for our community, but their efforts are not always given the recognition they deserve.
“That’s why in 2018, alongside Fratton Together, I launched the Inspiring Fratton Awards to provide these outstanding individuals with the appreciation and recognition for all the work they do.
“If you know of someone who deserves to win an Inspiring Fratton award who lives, works or learns in Fratton, please do nominate them.”
This year’s awards are now open and Stephen Morgan is seeking nominations to celebrate local people and their achievements.
