Stephen Morgan MP is inviting constituents to his next ‘Cuppa and Chat’ event on Saturday 3 June at 10:30am-12pm to provide support and advice to people who are dealing with anti-social behaviour.

The coffee morning, which will take place at Somerstown Hub Cafe on Winston Churchill Avenue, will have experts on hand to provide information and advice in an informal setting.

The panel will be made up of representatives from both Portsmouth City Council’s Anti-Social Behaviour team, and Unpaid Work for South Central Probation Service team

Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions and find out more about how they can help work towards a safer community as well as share views for the city MP to take back to Westminster.

The panel will share their information on the work being done to support victims and witnesses to anti-social behaviour, how to report concerns and what Community Payback can offer.

There will also be information about issues concerning tenancies and leaseholders with anti-social behaviour.

Encouraging Portsmouth people to get involved in the upcoming event, Stephen Morgan MP, said:

“Being born and raised in Portsmouth I want our city to be a safe and welcoming place for all, which is why I continue to take action to tackle crime and anti-social behaviour.

Too often people fear that when things go wrong, no one will come and nothing will be done. With the warmer weather approaching, incidents of anti-social behaviour are set to increase which is why authorities need to understand the impact on our community so they can plan their response.

This ‘Cuppa and Chat’ event is an excellent opportunity for constituents’ to share their concerns so I can continue campaigning for a safer Portsmouth on their behalf.”

Constituents must sign up to attend the coffee morning here.
