Portsmouth MP invites constituents to have their say on caring for our local NHS

By 14 March 2024No Comments

Stephen Morgan MP is inviting constituents to his next ‘Cuppa and Chat’ event on Saturday (4 April from 10.30am-12pm) to provide a space to discuss the challenges they are facing with our local health services and share thoughts on how these can be addressed.

The coffee morning, which will take place in Fratton, will have experts on hand to provide information and advice in an informal setting.

The panel of representatives will answer questions you may have regarding the NHS over light refreshments.

Attendees will have the opportunity to share their experiences, ideas and concerns, and share views for the city MP to take back to Westminster.

Booking is essential. To book a place please sign up at https://www.stephenmorgan.org.uk/contact/upcoming-events-2/

The location will be provided when your booking is confirmed.

Commenting ahead of the event, Portsmouth South MP Stephen Morgan said:

“14 years of this Conservative Government has left our NHS on its knees, with A&E waiting times at their worst on record, and the shortage of GPs and dentists reaching critical levels.

“Portsmouth patients deserve better. I want to hear directly from constituents on the issues they’re facing, and how they think our NHS can be better cared for, to enable them to receive the care they need.

“I hope this latest coffee morning will provide an opportunity for constituents to have their views heard and receive helpful advice on how we can work together to get the NHS back on its feet”.

Mr Morgan has vowed to take the concerns raised at the event to Westminster while continuing to press the Government to address the GP and dentistry crisis impacting our city.
