Portsmouth people were honoured this week at Stephen Morgan and Fratton Together’s annual Inspiring Fratton Awards.
The community awards scheme, launched by Mr Morgan alongside Fratton Together in 2018, celebrates local people and their achievements.
At the picnic and awards ceremony at St Mary’s Church Mr Morgan thanked local residents for enabling the awards to go from strength to strength and honour so many inspiring Portsmouth people.
Commenting, Portsmouth South MP Stephen Morgan said:
“The Inspiring Fratton Awards are always a chance to come together and celebrate the amazing people who make our city such a special place.
“This year it was fantastic to honour local volunteers who give up their precious time and give it back to our community.
“As someone born in Fratton, I know how these inspiring people can be overlooked, so it was a true privilege to honour them with this recognition.”
